"AP" ammo ban

Has anyone seen the latest push to ban "any ammunition that will penetrate an police officers vest"? I saw in on a web sight that lists newly introduced bills and now I cant find the damned web sight again! If thats what they are going to try next then all of our ammo will get hit. Hell even basic ball ammo will defeat a level IIA vest that is brand new let alone one that has been worn every day! They never cease to amaze me. If anyone has seen this sight please post a link.
