AKM fully auto

i bet everyone knows how to do this but me. i made a piece for my AK-47 to make it full auto. i put the piece in and it worked perfectly. but i need to know how to make a selector switch. i tried making a small whole and pulling it out of place with a small piece of metal but it doesn't work. any ideas?
