At gunshows recently I have seen a large number of American-made AK-47s. The are selling from $475 to $650 in the Atlanta area. They do not have thumbholes in the stocks; instead they have the stand-alone pistol grip of the pre-ban AKs. The front sight cover is also open at the top like many MAK-90s I have seen. The cheaper ones have wood stocks and grips, the higher end ones have black plastic stocks. Who makes these? Are they any good? -Brad |
