WUM-1 side rail looseness

I just got my german side rail scope,I'm using it on a
romanian WUM-1, not the best optics but it makes the rifle complete, my bitch is the side play of the scope
when its locked on, I don't know how windage will ever
hold a zero, its the rivets that hold the side scope rail to receiver, their not as tight as I think they should be, anyone have a idea or similar experience?
