AK full auto parts

I've seen full auto parts kits for sale in Gun Parts
Corp. and Federal Arms Corp. of America, parts include
auto sear, hammer,disconnector, spring and pin. now my
question is about how NFA rules apply? all places that sell these parts have a little paragraph about state,
federal and local laws. is it illegal to possess these
parts?I,m a doomsday thinking person, I'd like to have these parts to install when the government isn't here
to protect my family, you know like the L.A. riots,
also drilling fixtures are for sale, I may sound nuts
but I know others think the same, if I have these parts and never use them I'd feel better than needing them latter.
