On the business end of my sight post there is a window to indicate "battle sight zero".
Mine has a verticle line that is perfectly aligned with the line on the post itslef.
My qestion is this, was the line put there after the rifle was zeroed at the factory or did
they put it on that setting and it happend to be where the rifle is hitting?
The reason for my question is this, Im getting a new sight post and im wondering if thes lines
will be on it to help me find battle sight zero thus makeing my personal zero easier to find.
Also, I do not yet have a windage tool, can I tap the windage block to adjust it or is that
tool absolutely necessary?
