QUESTION: I have a MAC-90, have American parts kit, and want to install a sidefolder or fixed buttstock.... But there's a PROBLEM.....ctxt

My MAC-90 looks like it was originally meant to be an underfolder, as it has the original underfolder holes covered up.... I bought a standard fixed stock (FOr stamped REC.) and it will not fit! My MAC has a sloping rear-bottom receiver, and the standard stuff will not work.... What do I do? Are there any buttstocks that will work? HOw hard would it be to remove the underfolder coverings and mount an underfolder? ANY INPUT?

      - DON'T cut off the stock tang - the rifle would be too short - less than 26.5" and that makes it a SHORT BARRELLED RIFLE M-G-Kelly 20:18:49 2/16/1999 (0)
