I have a Tiger carbine and would like to tame the recoil with a longer barrel. Is it possible to have a longer barrel made or does anyone have a real source (no guesses) for SVD barrels? Also, regarding the front sight, the Tiger I have has a single exposed blade that at the base, extends some sheet metal up to the muzzle end. Are there threads under there? If I can't get a longer barrel, perhaps a muzzlebrake would help with the recoil. I've seen a Tiger with an SVD buttstock and front sight peice that included a flash suppressor and bayo lug. Looked cool and totally original, but very illegal. Anyone else seen different versions of these great Dragunov's?
