Crooked barrel

I was wondering if anything could be done to correct a slightly crooked barrel that is slanted to the left a few degrees. The front sight, gas block and rear sight are all tilted to the left as well. I've been to gunsmiths to correct the problem but they don't want to touch it because the barrel is pinned and they say that it wouldn't fit right if they were to try to fix it. I've thought about buying one of those rifle kits and replacing the old barrel and barrel pin with new ones. Would the barrel still not fit right? Or am I just SOL on the whole thing.
