I recently stumbled upon an idea while trying to carry some stuff off of my lane at the local range. If you have any of the 7.62 ammo boxes like the ones Norinco sells(with the little foam inserts,) you can make two mag dust covers with each one! Simply open each end of the box, fold the box flat, cut each end off about one inch in, being sure to leave the fold in flaps on(and enough room to fold them into.) Now you have the center of the box(throw it out,) and two ends with the flaps still on them. Close the flaps in place, and slide the end over a magazine. It will take a bit of jimmying, but they fit, trust me. Once it is over the mag, wrap the cardboard in black duct or elect. tape, and PRESTO! free mag covers! I made ten in around five min. The ones in SGN sell for 5 bucks for a set of four, and work no better than cardboard ones. The coolest thing is, the top of each one reads "Norinco 762x39." I even taped a Russian label on the ones that will cover mags filled with Russian ammo, and a Sellier and Bellot label over the ones holding that ammo. Now there is no guesswork when I grab a loaded magazine, and I know there is no dirt in my mags!!!__Dan
