I am extremely offended and irritated that any one who has
never put his right hand up and sworn to defend this Great
Constitutional Democratic Republic ultimately with his life
would denegrate the Military.

If it seems I am attacking this person, I am most definately am. I served a total of 14 years total service. Any pinko liberal socialist who would attack the Military will catch my ire.
Some time past Tom and jack nickelson starred in movie. In one of the most memorable scenes Jack niclkleson (paraphrased) "you need us. We are the ones who protect you while you sleep. We are the ones who guard your freedoms while you sleep."
I would say to this individual that he could not take the military life. I spent two days in the DMZ (South Korean Demilitiarized Zone.) They woke up at 04:30 to do PT (Physical training). After that they ate breakfast, then they took thier posts. they stood fifty feet or less from North Koreans who would rather shoot (with fully auto ak47s) them then give them the time. I was duly impressed with them. they could not leave base unless they had a "pass". I would like this inidividual to take that schedule.
As a Signal Soldier I did not have to do that, but one must respect thier courage and dedication. Denegrating them is in my opinion Socialist and leftist. This pinko commie needs to get some respect.
While I was attending the military equivalent of trade school, I had to wake up at 05:30 and do PT. I then had to shower, clean the common areas, eat breakfast, march to school, and spend the whole day learning my craft.
After I passed that school I went to my duty station. even though I did not have to tend to the rigors of the DMZ soldiers, I had to deal with other things.
1. I had to do CTT (common task training) on my off days. That individual will have to give up his days off for training.
2. I had to subject myself to Lts whose underwear was younger than me. It takes a great amount of fortitude to take that on a daily basis.
3. I had to take orders from civillians who outranked me (that riled me more than the Lt').
4. I had to lose some of my constitutional rights when I signed my name on the dotted line. (first free speach and more)
5. My family has over 40 years of Militray service. My father served 26 years in the Navy, My brother served 3 years as a nuclear technician, and I served 2 years as an aircraft mechanic; 8 years as a communications technician; and 3 years as a national guard communications technician.
The USS Cole's dead sailors (who died protecting and serving) are turning over in their graves. They deserve more respect.

This military that you are denegrating has

1. Won WWII
2. Won WWI
3. Fought in Vietnam only to return to overwhelming hatred.
4. Served in desert storm with the coalition to defeat Sadam.
5. Fought in Korea to beat the Chinese communists and thier allies.
6. This is the Military that is protecting your right to be stupid and ignorant.
This ignorant and shameless individual has desecrated the military. If he wants to desecrate he knows nothing about, then he should first experience it.
there are certain things I "attack" others. One is brain farts. Another is denegrating the Military. I served faithfully. Many men and women died protecting your right to be ignorant and completely stupid.

IT TAKES A GREAT DEAL OF FORTITUDE BOTH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL TO SERVE THIS GREAT CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBILC'S ARMED SERVICES. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GO TO ANOTHER COUNTRY AND LIVE THERE SOME TIME. THEN INSULT THE MILITARY. YOU WILL END UP IETHER DEAD OR IN JAIL. IN OTHER COUNTRIES, THE MILITARY RULES AND THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE "BAD MOUTHING".

I AM BEING BENEVALENT COMPARED TO THOSE COUNTRIES.

REMEMBER THE USS COLE WHEN "BAD MOUTHING" THE MILITARY. THOSE MEN AND WOMEN HAVE GIVEN UP TOO MUCH (SOME THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE tHIER LIVES).
