Major sucess at the range-My AK is sited to 100 yards

On Labor Day I spent four hours at the range blasting a total of 60 rounds. With the new rear site I was sited in about 30 minutes as I had to wait for the "all clear" to get my target moved to the 100 yard line. The range was busy as the Jersey shore was being closed due to Hurricane Dennis was kicking up high surf. The sun did come out and slight high humility but other that that no rain and I had much fun. I asked about sound surpressor at the range and no one has ever seen one. The range closes at night so I do not know how I will site in a night scope if I ever get one unless I join a private range. The PA State Game Wardens never showed up as they might have been on vacation being Labor Day. So in summary I am sited in plain site at 100 yards and have my Russian PSO4 scope and new Chineese scope both sited in at the same range. I took my new digital camera with me and took pictures of the range and had some of me and the rifle and the rifle on the siting table. Currently Classic Arms is shipping me 500 rounds as I am empty of ammo. I have one three mag clamp that I wanted to test out but was afraid of the Game Warden coming up and getting fined. The bipod I discovered changed the point of impact as I do not have the bipod lined up perfectly with the barrel. The group was good at 100 yards without the bipod but not as tight as I wanted but within a softball of a diameter plain site. One gunner near me had a bore site and I saw how he got his rounds near bullseye without wasting ammo. Unfortunally the AK74 couldnot fit his bore site equipment. But I do feel good knowing that any target fixed can easily be hit within 100 yards as all rounds would strike in the heart zone that I aimed at. Of course now I need to find a combat range as targets will be moving and might ever be shooting back in real life situration. Has anyone ever been in a real combat situration with a AK74? Also, the next time I go to the range it would be nice if I had a fellow AK74 owner who know more that me and could give me guidance and support as their is much to this hobby.
