Parts Kits

	First off, this is my first time posting on this site. What I was wanting to know is a little bit about these parts kits I keep hearing about. I know of someone who has built a .50cal sniper type rifle and a few mac11's from parts kits. I would like to get one of these ak kits I've been seeing. My question is, are these guns legal? Also, where would I get a receiver for one? Thanks for the help everyone.
