    If your looking to reload don't shoot brass out of the AK. Buy some cheap Wolf, Barnaul, etc. I really don't have an answer for you but I can tell you that my AK-74 in 5.45x39 has one hell of an ejector on it. I've seen it sling an empty shell about 35 ft. Maybe the ejector on the .223 is slinging the brass into the dust cover causing the dents. Like I said I don't really know, just a thougt.
