To remove the fire control group ,on an SAR3 in particular, does not require a degree in mechanical engineering. As long as you have some mechanical ability, this task should not be difficult. I also have an SAR3 and have removed the fire control group before. Refer to this link for removal and installation http://www.akdude.net/hammer.html Follow the instructions step by step; it gives some good tips and pointers. I also polished the FCG while I had it out. http://linx310.nothingbutguns.com/fcg.htm What a difference this made. It really smoothed up the trigger pull and removed the grittiness. Though I have no experience with the RedStar FCG, I would imagine that instillation would be similar if not the same.
