more Romainian AK questions

    Hi, forgive my ignorance in this area. I bought my rifle
based on the simple fact that I liked the way it looked.
After reading a few posts here I am now confused as to what
I have bought. I thought I bought a Romainian AK-47. I read
a post that talked about a ROMAK 1 as though it were an
AK-74. Here are the stats on the rifle I bought: ...on left
side of rifle under sight assembly: RATMIL/CUGIR MADE IN
ROMANIA D.I.G Va.Bch. Va. ...on left side of receiver:
1-8218-97 ...on right side under sight assembly ROKAM 1
7.62x39 all other parts on the rifle(receiver) are stamped
with the number 8218 Did I buy an AK-47 or AK-74? Thanks
