Romanian Buttstock Extenders

Thought I would throw this question out for assistance. I
recently acquired a Romanian AK (WUM-1) in 7.62x39 caliber
with the sporter thumbhole stock. Somewhere on the internet
I saw where someone was commercially selling stock
extenders for this style of sporter stock. If I remember
correctly, it was a spacer that went in between the stock
and the buttplate which effectively gives it an extra inch
or so of length for the American shooter, and it did not
look bad at all. Can not recall if it was metal, plastic,
etc. I saw this item long before I had and interest in
buying this AK, and naturally, I did not focus on it at the
time. Have any of you out there seen this type of item?
