I went to my local guns shop today and he has two Russian Tiger carbines in stock.I don't know a lot about SVD's and would like some help picking one out. The first one is a 1993 production with black plastic handgaurds, PSO-1 scope and comes with two 10 round mags. The second is a 1994 production with wood handgaurds and PSO-1 scope and two 5 round mags and a 880 round case of ammo. Both rifles come with small accesories and both are mint/unfired without boxes. Was there a quality difference between the two years of production? I have heard the the earlier Tiger had cut down SVD barrels, while the later ones had SVDS barrels. There is no a big price difference between the two, the '93 is $1900 and the '94 is $2000. Thanks in advance for any help. |
