1. Remember, this is a sale. so SHOW THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RIFLE... your military right... the one with the ejection port...2. If you are selling a rifle or any other object that has copies, SHOW ALL THE PROOF MARKS....go beyond a resonable doubt... 3. We ALL want a true Soviet SVD so get over being pissed, and show the required stuff...you WILL sell it, and at a true value price... 4. If you don't show the required Soviet markings, then we have to "assume the worst and hope for the best"... 5. If this turns out to be an NDM 86, then don't expect anyone to trust you again... 6.Pull back from the emotion and look at the pics given... even the ones just posted here by Berg DO NOT SHOW THE SOVIET MARKINGS on the RIFLE... 7. We've all been burned by shady deals, so cut US some slack.... and finally.... we are all here to trade info and goodies, and I wouldn't expect to sell, oh, let's say an imported Finnish capture Mosin Nagant 1942 91/30 with a refurbished 1965 3.5 PU scope and list it as a "true" WWII sniper rifle, but we all have seen it done.... so both sides need to understand that just because the rifle is not shiny doesn't mean it is not refinished, and "purplish" wood can always be bought somewhere else and added on... and the scopes shown are 2 different types, and true Soviet rifles were imported with passive IR on them before the first ban( leading to the Chinese importation) and then the IR scope itself is banned now, if info serves... everyone just wants clarification, and we all live to admire this rifle...understand we are giddy when we see a true SVD, and we'll remember that you want to make money... |
