7.62x54R ruptured, is something wrong??? But no damage to the gun

	After shooting my Romak-3(dragunov) this weekend I noticed that one of the cases had a split about an 1/8 of an inch long down the side. It was split was opened up about 1/32 of an inch. This has never happened to me before----Should I be concerned? I am assuming that the ammo is at least 10 years old. It's the type in the paper wrapper/oval can(Russian). Otherwise the gun shoot an sub inch group at 100 yards. I'm very impressed with the gun's performance and other than the split case am convinced that I got a lot more than I paid for.
