I thought I was the only one that bought one of the 3x9 1P21 scopes! You're right, it is a great scope for a SVD, and one of my favorites along with the 6x42 and 8x42 PSO's currently available. Anyway, here I go again pitching my battery adaptors. They are machined from nylon with a brass contact, and a perfect fit in the battery chamber in a PSO scope (and I make ones for the 3x9 scope with two lamps as well).No modifications to scope, will power 1.5v, 2.5v, and 3.0v lamps/LED's. Use the original issue flat top battery cap, no AA size commercial adaptors, or replacement lamps to buy. Also, if you are still useing that Russian battery, you should know it contains Mercury, which can leak out of the batteries - a Toxic mess! These adaptors utilize commonly available button cell batteries, like found in calculators, watches, ect., and can be purchased inexpensively almost anywhere, like Walmart, a pharmacy, some grocery stores and so on. What would you pay for a treasure like this? No, don't answer yet, becuase I will throw in shipping to any destination in the cont. US for the purchase price of.... OK, $10.00 ea.! and you to can have one of these little beauties arrive at your doorstep just days from now. How did you get along without this till now? Face it, Life just isn't worth living unless you buy one of these battery adaptors NOW! Seriously, My PSO battery adapters are much better than my sense of humor, I advertised these on this board as well as several others and got a very underwelming response, would appreciate any feedback on why these haven't been selling much.
