Professional Precision Rifle training at SIG Arms Academy

For anyone interested in improving their abilities with a rifle there is no better way than professional training. SIG Arms Academy offers 2 Precision Scoped Rifle courses that fit the bill. I have attended their level I and Advanced courses and can say they are excellent. Shooting is done both on paper and on steel at known and unknown distances, and under pressure. The Advanced courses culminates in a "Steel Plate Hunt". They have over 130 acres and students are taken into the field where they must spot and engage targets at unknown distances from whatever position that they can make the shot using. There is A LOT to these courses and all the students learned a lot. The senior instructor is a Special Forces Sniper/Observer instructor and has trained with, carried, used, and trained other people on both the SVD and Romanian PSL (Romak 3) sniper rifles. He knows his stuff. From ballistics, wind, mirage, optics, range estimation, to making the shot under pressure its all here. In reality it is a version of their military and police only sniper courses. The hitch? There is none. In operation for over 10 years they only recently began accepting civilians for training. Before that it was military and police only. Because of this their prices are rock bottom low. A two day course is only around $200. This is one of the premier facilites in the country so it is well worth the trip. For anyone interested check out their web site at WWW.SIGARMSACADEMY.COM
So if you can shoot your .308 SVD well off the bench but so so in alternate positions or just want to improve check them out! Located in rural Epping New Hampshire they are easy to find, discounted lodging is close by, the staff is extremely professional, the training is first rate, and you can even use ANY of their sniper rifles if you so choose. It's well worth the trip. I've been there for 7 courses so far this year so if you want more info email me.
