who gets to play in the SVD sandbox (board maintainers pls take note)

Like I said previously, 7.62x54R ammunition is discussed here, PSO scopes are discussed here, and long range shooting is discussed here. I couldn't care less if the "SVDs only" crowd has enough cash to shell out for a "real" SVD (or a Chinese copy in ohmygoodness, .308 - is it a real SVD, guys ?) while I was cheap and got my stamped sheetmetal Romak (not Romack) 3 for $800, the issues I am interested in are the same ones discussed here.
Unless the board maintainers choose to set a policy that this board is only for "true" SVDs (and I would urge them not to for the above reasons) I am staying right here, and I urge all other Rom-3 owners to do the same. "Take a hike" is not particularly interesting, particularly if it's motivated by "my gun is bigger/better/more expensive than your gun" snobbery. Remember, boys, it's not the size of your unit that counts, it's operator skill.
(And online, unless you own the bandwidth, you've got squat to say about who else gets to use it as long as they're not preventing you from using it. And please don't claim that having to suffer through a few posts from stamped-receiver neanderthals is preventing you from using it.)
