Chinese NDM- Safe to shoot?

	I'm considering purchase of a Chinese NDM in 308 but I'm concerned about the number of SVDs and Romaks which have blown up. Since there are not cheap and I don't like the idea of losing my eyesight, I want to get some accurate information on the risk of shooting these. Should special light loads be used in these? Also, if it breaks, where can I get spare parts. I think it is made by a company called Norinco. Thanks.
