The Russian "hunting" ammo was 204gr. soft point. It grouped between 1" and 1/2" depending on my personal abilitys. The scope was the first thing that I changed then I added the bipod these things helped but I still had flyers. I had the trigger reworked at the same time that it was sent out to be cryo treated so I cannot tell which of those two things helped the most. I just know that it seems to be a combination that works for me. I almost forgot I installed a recoil buffer and the bolt does stay open after the last shot. Befor the "treatment" I had my best groups with Checz. silver tip. Every once an a while I would pull off a 1" to 1/2" group with it and just over 1" with the "hunting" ammo. My range partner was using an M14 and after the shoot he cleaned up his gun and gave it to me to take to the shop "and have them do what ever they did to yours to mine". Hope this helps I sure know that it whas hard to decide what to try to squeek out every thing that the Romak has to offer.
