Letter from Auction Arms
 Author: Survivor March 15, 1999 at 06:20:37
Here is a letter I got from them:

My apologies. Our site experienced a technical problem that is
forcing us to reload our server software. It leave us in the painful

position of not being able to explain to our users what the
problem

is on the webpage, because the site server itself is down. Auction

Arms should be up and running by noon EST on Monday, but
don't be surprised if it's down a few hours longer than
that, as a server

reload can be difficult. (Likewise, don't be surprised if the server
is up early.) The userid and password request you might see if you

visit our site is a measure designed to prevent users from

inadvertently getting in to the site while we're working on it. It
will be removed once we feel the site is again ready for business.

Auctions that are scheduled to close on Sunday will now
close on

Tuesday, 5pm. Auctions scheduled to close on Monday will now close
on Wednesday, 5pm. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this
may have caused you. Thanks for you patience.
